SCENT: Used for scent (Best 1942). In recipe for scent. See Aciphylla.
Strong smelling fern used for perfuming and for scenting oil (Colenso 1869a). '...an agreeable delicate scent' (Colenso 1892b)
Fronds fragrant when freshly dried (Dobbie and Crookes 1952).
