BOTANICAL NAME: Tupeia antarctica
PREVIOUS NAMES: Viscum pubigerium; Viscum antarcticum
MĀORI NAME: kohuorangi, tāpia, pirita, pirinoa (all in Williams 1971); puka, tīrauriki (Taylor 1855)
COMMON NAME: mistletoe
NOTES: May be found on almost every species of tree and shrub round Dunedin (Buchanan 1869).
It is found on kahikatea and the pukatea; it bears a blue berry (in Taylor 1855).
